The Senior Years program at Caroline Chisholm School caters for students in Years 9 and 10. The program provides a link between the Middle Years and further study or work.
The academic aspect of Senior Years deals largely with the Year 10 certification process. The results that students receive during this time go toward the completion of this certificate.
The program is overseen by two Executive teachers and a team of teachers. Both Year 9 and 10 have Year Coordinators who support the wellbeing of the students in the year groups and they are supported by Contact Teachers who look after small groups of students. Teachers who are in these roles develop positive relationships with these students and support them to make their time at CCS successful. These relationships are vital in identifying and working with student strengths and catering for individual needs.
At the end of Year 10 we celebrate the student's achievements with a Graduation Ceremony and Formal.
